Removal Guide

Everyone knows that moving house can be a stressful time this is why we have listed some useful tips to help your move go as smoothly as possible.

Day before the move:

Empty your fridge and freezer for defrosting.

Make sure all of your packaging is done.

Arrange to have your cooker disconnected.    

If a parking permit is required for us please arrange this.

Make sure all boxes are clearly marked.

Have your washing machine / dishwasher unplumbed (you can arrange for us to do this if you wish).

Make sure that any furniture that needs dismantling is arranged with us.

In most circumstances draws with items in can be left, there is no need for packing unless valuables are inside.

Day of the move:

Make sure we have clear access to your property and to the rooms inside

Available parking outside of your property

All flat pack beds are dismantled ready for the move (you can arrange us to do this for you if you wish).

Check at the end of your move that your property is empty and you haven’t left anything behind.
